Projects I'm working on or recently finished

Here are some projects that I'm either working on now or have been working on recently.

Arbor

It took us a couple of weeks to get it all done, but we started out on a Saturday and dug the holes, set the posts and cemented them in.  Ardis, Jacob, Valerie and I worked on setting the cross beans, which was more difficult than we originally thought.  The angles were pretty tough because of the curved shape of the arbor itself.  Valerie and I cut all the 2x4s for the top with my DeWalt miter saw.  Then Jacob, Valerie and and I used my new DeWalt nail gun to nail them all on.  Thanks for the help guys!

Stone Fire Pit and Patio

We spent Friday night digging the footing and pouring concrete, then Saturday laying brick and stone, then finished up the firepit on Sunday. Then the real fun began. We spent several days digging the footing for the patio, then a day shoveling concrete and packing it. Then a day shoveling sand and 2 days laying stone. Not fun. Thanks to Valerie, Michael, Jacob, Ardis, Rebekah, Chandler, Christy and Ben.

Cornhole Set

Adam built me a set of corn hole boards.  Ardis and I made the legs using my new miter saw.  Valerie painted them and Jacob donated the WU sticker.  Thanks guys!
